About Us

Farming operations started in 2007 after purchasing the bulk of the herd from a prize Simmentaler stud. Since then strict breeding programmes have been implemented through artificial insemination and a selective embryo flushing programme.

The progeny forms the core of the breeding stock and enterprise. A continuous programme, on a selective basis of artificial insemination is being followed. Approximately 20% of the herd is artificially inseminated.

The farm is managed as a conservation enterprise with emphasis on sustainable usage of the natural resources.

The cattle graze freely on the open veld and share the resources with game such as Impala, Kudu and Gemsbok.
